Honey Pecan Pie

Honey Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 3 eggs plus 1 yolk slightly beaten
  • 1/3 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup of chopped pecans
  • ¾ cups of pecan halves For the top of pie
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Instructions

  1. Combine the first 7 ingredients until smooth. Stir in chopped pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Arrange pecan halves on the top of the filling. Bake in a 325° oven for 50 minutes.
